"Visit to atholl arms hotel dunkeld"

June 2017

Very nice room overlooking the bridge and river lovely view and a lovely little bar at the river and car park. The new manager was lovely and could not do enough for us as were the rest of the staff. The night we had diner in the restaurant was great the food was superb and we enjoyed the whole experience thank you.

"Fantastic vegan menu!"

May 2017

We ate at the Atholl Ams 3 nights in a row, twice in the bistro and once outside in the lovely gardens by the river. The vegan menu is brilliant, I had a different meal each night, there is a set menu and also a special on each day, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The food was tastier than anything I have eaten in Glasgow and Edinburgh. I can't wait to go back and try the taster menu on a Thursday night. My omnivore partner also enjoyed his food - the quality is excellent. The staff were busy but friendly, I would highly recommend.

"Great Value, Wonderful Staff, Dog Friendly Accomodation"

May 2017

Had a 3 night break on a B+B basis with my wife and 2 year old Black Lab. Room very clean and comfortable, staff were excellent, very attentive, nothing was a problem with plenty of attention and treats for the dog. Food (Breakfast) was good and served in a corner of the Hotel lounge with having the dog. We ate dinner in the Meeting Place bar on 2 nights, 1 night we had Pizzas and 1 night Burgers. Pizza's were delicious, stone baked crust with plenty of toppings, spicy chicken/meat feast recommended. Tuesday night is 1/2 price burger night and Beef/Venison burgers were polished off post haste. Dog charge was £13 per night. Overall great value in an excellent location. Highly Recommended.

Another dog friendly hotel. We had beautiful sandwiches here in a very clean area. They brought water for our dogs and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Very nice wines available. A perfect place to eat or stay if you're visiting Dunkeld

We eat here regularly, mostly in the bistro but sometimes in the restaurant. When we saw a 5 course tasting menu advertised for £29 a head we just had to book a table. The staff were very friendly and attentive as usual, thank you Gill, Sophie and Sarah. All courses were fantastic but the cod, pea puree and potato rosti chips was the stand out dish of the night. It was also great to be able to choose wine by the glass which is usually only available by the bottle.
Hopefully the tasting menu will become a regular occurance as we would absolutely try it again.
We will be back soon for the regular menu.
